One of the largest and most exciting Disney-themed lines of Happy Meal toys ran from in March 8 to April 12 of 2002. It was a nationwide limited edition collection celebrating '100 Years of Disney Magic'. 100 characters were represented in the set and 4 commemorative glasses were available as well. It was a toy series which was filled with the nostalgia and wonder of the classic Disney era.

The McDonald`s restaurants themselves even captured the feel of this event by being decked out in Disney paraphernalia and pictures. It was a grand way to mark the long and successful partnership between Disney and McDonald`s which has gone for decades and produced some of the most memorable Happy Meal toys to come along. 40 Disney films were represented in the set and it was a real blend of characters from both today and years gone by.

All the great such as Mickey, Dumbo, Cinderella, and Mary Poppins were of course included. The modern classic characters were there as well including Ariel, Aladdin, Bianca, Pocahontas, Tarzan, and Hercules. One toy was given in each Happy meal, so it took real dedication to collect the whole set. The set of commemorative glasses was available for $1.99 with any food purchase. These glasses each featured a different one of the 4 major theme park celebrations.

The Happy Meal boxes are collector`s items in themselves as well. They were decorated with Disney artwork and character images and they even featured interactive puzzles and games.
